Logistics and Supply ChainWarehouse Supervision and Team Leadership
Warehouse supervisors are promoted from the floor and then held accountable for output, accuracy, safety and a team, usually with no preparation for any of it except the first. This course covers the supervisory job. Delegates work through planning a shift against a variable workload, allocating people and equipment, and holding standards on accuracy and safety without personally checking everything. People material covers briefing, feedback, handling poor performance and managing former peers. The course addresses the specific pressures of the role, including seasonal peaks, agency labour and the pressure to cut corners when dispatch is behind, and closes on escalating a capacity problem upward.
