Migrating to the newer platform changes the data model underneath familiar transactions, which means reports that used to reconcile stop doing so for reasons a business user cannot see. This course explains what changed and why. Delegates work through the simplified data model and the tables that no longer exist as they did, navigation and the shift from transaction codes to role based apps, and the embedded analytics that put reporting on live data rather than on an overnight extract. Universal journal and the merging of finance and controlling are covered, since this is where most reporting differences originate. Building and adapting reports follows. Search, filtering and personalisation are addressed. The course closes on what to check during a migration and on reconciling a report that has changed.
