Risk functions too often operate as a compliance checkbox disconnected from how the organisation actually makes decisions, which is why a risk register can be current and complete while the business takes a decision it never covered. This course connects the two. Delegates work through embedding risk into planning and budgeting so that a plan carries its risks with it, risk adjusted performance measurement and the difference between a good result and a lucky one, and the decision points where risk information must arrive to be useful.
