Project and ContractProject Quality Management and Inspection
Quality on a project is either built into the sequence of work or inspected for afterwards at far greater cost, and organisations that rely on final inspection are paying to find defects rather than to prevent them. This course covers building it in. Delegates work through the quality plan and its relationship to the specification, inspection and test plans with hold and witness points that actually stop work, and the qualification of suppliers and subcontractors before award. Documentation including certificates, test records and the data book handed over at completion is covered. Non conformance, concession and rework decisions follow. Auditing during execution is addressed. The course closes on quality at handover and on the defects that surface in the liability period.
