LaboratoryISO/IEC 17065 for Product Certification Bodies
A product certification body attests that a product meets a specification, and the value of that attestation rests entirely on the body's independence and the soundness of its scheme. This course covers ISO/IEC 17065. Delegates work through the structural and impartiality requirements, certification scheme design and the evaluation activities underpinning a decision, the separation between evaluation, review and the certification decision itself, and surveillance of certified products. Use of the certification mark, complaints and appeals, and the suspension or withdrawal of a certificate are covered as the situations where a body's independence is genuinely tested.
