Governance and ComplianceInternal Auditor for Management Systems
An internal audit either tells an organisation something it did not know or consumes a week confirming that the paperwork matches itself, and the difference is almost entirely in how the auditor was trained. This course trains for the first. Delegates work through audit principles and the guidance that governs management system auditing, the audit programme and planning an individual audit against risk rather than clause by clause, and preparing checklists that prompt enquiry instead of a yes or no. Opening meetings, evidence gathering and interviewing are practised, including asking a question that gets an honest answer. Non conformity grading and writing a finding that survives challenge follow. The course closes on reporting, follow up and auditor independence and conduct.
