Procurement and MaterialsFramework Agreements and Call Off Contracts
A framework agreement is meant to remove the cost of tendering the same requirement repeatedly, and a badly built one instead locks an organisation into rates it cannot benchmark for several years. This course covers building good ones. Delegates work through when a framework is the right instrument and when it is not, single and multi supplier structures, and the call off mechanisms that allocate work: direct award, mini competition and rotation. Pricing structures and the indexation that keeps rates honest are covered. Governance during the term follows, including performance review and the right to remove a supplier. The course closes on measuring whether the framework actually delivered value, and on planning the retender.
