Project and ContractEPC Contracting and Project Delivery Models
The delivery model chosen for a capital project fixes who carries which risk and how much visibility the owner retains, and it is usually decided before anybody has analysed the consequences. This course makes that decision deliberate. Delegates work through the main models, from traditional design bid build through engineering procurement construction to management contracting and alliancing, and the risk profile of each. Lump sum turnkey arrangements receive detailed attention, including where the premium goes and what the owner gives up. Interface and split scope risk are covered. The course closes on selecting a model against project characteristics and market conditions.
