This course builds the technical skills to evaluate capital projects and investment proposals using net present value, internal rate of return, and payback methods, alongside the judgement to weigh risk, financing, and strategic fit. Delegates practise appraising infrastructure, expansion, and replacement investment decisions typical of manufacturing, energy, and public infrastructure projects in African markets. The course also addresses financing choices and the interaction between investment and funding decisions.
