Project and ContractConstruction Site Supervision and Management
A site supervisor converts drawings and a programme into built work using people and plant that arrive late, and most of what determines the outcome is decided in the first hour of each day. This course covers that job. Delegates work through setting out, drawing interpretation and confirming that what is being built matches what was designed, short interval planning and daily resource allocation, and the coordination of subcontractors working in the same space. Quality control and inspection at the point of work are covered, since defects are cheapest to catch immediately. Site records, diaries and photographic evidence follow, because they become the basis of every later claim. The course closes on safety supervision and on the authority a supervisor actually holds.
