Project and ContractAgile Project Management
Agile methods were built for work where the requirement is discovered rather than specified, and applying them to work that is genuinely fixed produces ceremony without benefit. This course covers both the practice and the judgement of when it fits. Delegates work through iterative delivery, backlog definition and prioritisation, estimation and velocity, and the events and roles that structure a sprint. Substantial attention goes to the organisational conditions agile depends on, including a genuinely available product owner and a team allowed to decide how work is done. The course also covers hybrid approaches, since most organisations run agile delivery inside an annual budget and a fixed price contract.
