Most organisations that say they run agile projects are running a governance model built for fixed scope on top of teams asked to work iteratively, and the friction lands on the project manager. This course covers making the two coexist. Delegates work through what agile actually changes, which is when scope is decided rather than whether it is controlled, and choosing a delivery approach by the nature of the work rather than by fashion. Backlogs, iterations and the discipline of a definition of done follow. Estimation and forecasting without a fixed plan are covered, including what to tell a sponsor who wants a date. Hybrid structures are addressed directly: a staged contract with iterative delivery inside it. Governance, reporting and stage gates that fit iterative work follow. The course closes on scaling across teams and on the behaviours that decide whether any of it works.
