Drilling and Reservoir EngineeringWell Integrity Management
An operator with a large stock of active and idle wells rarely knows which of them have lost a barrier until gas appears in a cellar or annulus pressure climbs on a monitoring sheet. Well integrity management turns that uncertainty into a system. Delegates work through barrier philosophy across the life cycle, drawing on the concepts of ISO 16530 and NORSOK D010, then annulus pressure management: identifying sustained casing pressure, setting maximum allowable annulus surface pressure and diagnosing the source. Integrity testing, safety valve and tree maintenance, corrosion and erosion monitoring and logging for tubing and casing condition follow. Risk ranking, well categorisation by barrier status and the integrity register are built in exercises. Delegates leave able to set up and run an integrity programme across a producing asset.
