Total Rewards and Compensation Strategy Design

Compensation decisions made without a coherent rewards philosophy tend to leak talent, breed pay inequity and invite disputes that HR spends years untangling. This course walks delegates through building a total rewards strategy from job evaluation and market benchmarking through to benefits design and pay equity auditing, with particular attention to multi country African payroll realities. Delegates leave with a rewards framework template ready for adaptation to their own organisation.

Course objectives

  • Design a total rewards philosophy that supports the organisation's talent strategy
  • Conduct job evaluation and grading using a recognised methodology
  • Benchmark pay against relevant labour markets and interpret survey data
  • Structure a benefits package that balances cost against employee value
  • Run a pay equity audit and correct identified anomalies defensibly
