Logistics and Supply ChainSupply Chain and Logistics Strategy
Supply chain decisions taken for local efficiency frequently make the whole worse, and only a strategic view catches that. This course takes it. Delegates work through supply chain design and the structural choices that fix most cost and service before any operating decision is made, the trade off between responsiveness and efficiency and where each belongs, and network configuration including facility location and inventory placement. Risk and resilience receive detailed treatment, including single sourcing, geographic concentration and the buffers that African lead times genuinely require. The course covers performance measurement across the whole chain and closes on building a supply chain strategy an executive team will fund.
