Most organisational data lives in relational databases, and an analyst who cannot query one is dependent on somebody else's queue for every question. This course removes that dependency. Delegates work through relational structure and how tables relate, selecting, filtering and sorting, and the aggregation and grouping that answers most business questions. Joins are taught properly, including the ones that silently duplicate or drop rows. Subqueries, common table expressions and window functions follow, since real analysis needs them. Data quality checks in SQL are covered, because the first result is often wrong for a reason the data will tell you. The course closes on query performance and on working safely against a production database.
