Sales and MarketingServices and Professional Services Marketing
A service cannot be inspected before it is bought, varies with whoever delivers it, and is produced in front of the customer, which makes marketing one fundamentally different from marketing a product. This course addresses those differences. Delegates work through the evidence buyers use in place of inspection, including credentials, referrals and the visible parts of a process, and managing expectation as part of the offer rather than after a complaint. Productising an intangible service into something a buyer can compare and price is covered. Reputation, referral and thought leadership as the main acquisition routes follow, since professional services rarely sell through advertising. The course closes on pricing expertise and on the marketing role of the people who deliver the work.
