SAP SystemsSAP TM: Transportation Management
Transportation management in the system plans and settles freight against orders that originate elsewhere, so a configuration error surfaces as an unbillable shipment rather than as an error message. This course covers working with it. Delegates work through the organisational structure and master data including locations, lanes and resources, order and requirement integration from sales and purchasing, and freight unit building. Planning and optimisation are covered, including manual intervention when the optimiser produces something unusable. Carrier selection and tendering follow. Execution, event tracking and delivery confirmation are addressed. The course closes on freight settlement, charge calculation and the reconciliation against a carrier invoice.
