SAP SystemsSAP Testing and Release Management
A change that works in development and fails in production has passed through a testing and release process that did not represent reality, and the cost lands on the business rather than on the project. This course covers closing that gap. Delegates work through test strategy and the levels from unit through integration to user acceptance, test data that is representative without exposing production information, and defect management and the triage that decides what blocks a release. Regression testing and automation are covered, since a large system cannot be fully retested by hand. Release planning, cutover and rollback follow. Environment management and refresh strategy are addressed. The course closes on post release support and on the hypercare period that determines how a change is remembered.
