SAP SystemsSAP Integration and Interface Management
Few organisations run a single system, and the interfaces between them are where data goes missing overnight and where nobody can say which side broke. This course covers building and running them. Delegates work through integration patterns including synchronous calls, asynchronous messaging and batch file transfer, and choosing between them for a given requirement. Middleware and the integration layer are covered, along with the mapping and transformation between differing data structures. Error handling and reprocessing are treated as design requirements rather than as afterthoughts, since interfaces fail routinely. Monitoring and alerting follow. Master data alignment across systems is addressed. The course closes on interface documentation and on supporting an integration whose builder has left.
