SAP SystemsSAP Data Migration and Cutover Management
Data migration is the activity most likely to delay a go live and the one most often left to the end, and a system loaded with bad master data is unusable regardless of how well it was configured. This course covers doing it properly. Delegates work through migration scope and the decision of what to bring, source data profiling and the cleansing that follows, and mapping and transformation rules. Load tools and techniques are covered. Reconciliation and sign off receive full attention, since somebody must accept that the loaded data is correct. Cutover planning, sequencing and the rehearsal that proves the plan follow. The course closes on go live support and post migration correction.
