Risk, Compliance and AMLRisk Based Internal Auditing
Auditing every process with equal intensity wastes scarce audit resource on low risk areas while genuine exposures go unexamined, and an annual plan built from a rotation cycle guarantees exactly that. This course covers planning from risk instead. Delegates work through building an audit universe and assessing risk across it, translating that assessment into an annual plan that management and the audit committee will support, and scoping an individual engagement around the risks that matter rather than the whole process. Risk and control matrices and testing proportionate to the risk are covered. Findings, rating and the reporting that gets acted on follow. Follow up and closing findings properly are addressed. The course closes on revising a plan during the year as risks move.
