Governance and ComplianceRegulations and Control in Corporate Governance
This course connects the regulatory obligations imposed on an organisation to the internal control system that discharges them. Delegates map the applicable regulatory landscape, translate obligations into control requirements, design and document controls proportionate to the risk, and establish testing and monitoring that shows whether the controls actually operate. Attention is given to the recurring problem of control documentation that describes an activity nobody performs, and to reporting a control failure upward before an external party finds it.
