Finance and TreasuryReal Estate Finance and Investment
This course covers the analysis and financing of property investment. Delegates work through property valuation approaches, income and yield analysis, development appraisal and residual valuation, debt structuring and loan covenants, and the risk factors specific to property including tenant concentration, lease expiry profile and market cycle. The African property context receives direct attention: currency mismatch where rent and debt are denominated differently, title and registration risk, and the thinner transaction evidence available to support a valuation.
