The purchase to pay cycle is where an organisation actually parts with money, and most of the fraud and error it suffers enters through a weakness somewhere along it rather than through a dramatic breach. This course covers securing it end to end. Delegates work through the process from requisition through order, receipt, invoice and payment, and the control points at each stage. Three way matching and the exceptions that defeat it are covered. Vendor master data is treated as a control in its own right, since a fictitious or amended supplier record is the commonest route to loss. Approval limits, delegation and segregation of duties follow. The course closes on exception reporting, automation and measuring process performance.
