Governance and ComplianceProject Risk Management and Compliance
This course covers risk management on projects, where the exposure is concentrated in decisions made early and the consequences appear late. Delegates work through risk identification and the biases that distort it, qualitative and quantitative assessment including schedule and cost risk analysis, response planning, contingency setting and its justification, and the monitoring that keeps a risk register from becoming a document nobody opens. Compliance obligations on projects are covered specifically, including permits, environmental and social requirements and the reporting expected by lenders and development finance institutions.
