Practical AML Skills: Detection, Investigation and Suspicious Activity Reporting

Anti money laundering professionals need more than an understanding of the regulations. They need the practical skill to identify suspicious activity, analyse customer and transaction information, assess financial crime risk, investigate alerts, recognise laundering typologies, document findings and make sound escalation and reporting decisions. This highly practical three day programme takes delegates through the complete AML skills cycle, from identify and assess through analyse, investigate and document to escalate and report. Delegates work with realistic scenarios involving customers, transactions, account activity and suspicious behaviour, practising red flag identification, risk assessment, transaction pattern analysis, investigative questioning, evidence evaluation and reporting documentation. The programme also addresses the growing use of technology and artificial intelligence in AML monitoring, while keeping professional judgement and human oversight at the centre.
