Quality, ISO and AuditingISO 9001 Lead Auditor Practice
An external audit that runs out of time on day two, or ends with findings the auditee can argue away, usually failed in planning. Delegates here practise leading second and third party audits of quality systems against ISO 9001, using the guidance of ISO 19011 and the impartiality and competence principles behind ISO/IEC 17021. They work through audit programme risk, scope and sampling, then team selection and the audit plan, the opening meeting, evidence gathering across sites and shifts, grading nonconformities so they stand up, and the closing meeting. Report writing, follow up of corrective action and handling disputed findings complete the sequence. This is practice based training, not a registered lead auditor course, and it carries no award from any external scheme. Delegates leave able to lead a supplier or third party audit team and defend every finding they raise.
