LaboratoryISO 17034 for Reference Material Producers
A reference material carries the traceability of every measurement made against it, so the requirements on its producer are correspondingly strict. This course covers ISO 17034. Delegates work through production planning and material processing, homogeneity and stability assessment and the statistical treatment each requires, characterisation approaches and the assignment of property values with their uncertainty, and the commutability question for materials used in medical and food testing. Certification, documentation and the information a producer must supply with a material are covered in detail, and the course closes on assessment preparation and the findings producers most often receive.
