Drilling and Reservoir EngineeringIntegrated Reservoir Management and Field Development Planning
Fields lose value when geoscience, wells, facilities and commercial teams each optimise their own piece and nobody owns the whole. Reservoir management holds those decisions together for the life of the asset. Delegates begin with the asset life cycle and the decision gates from discovery through appraisal, concept selection and execution. Appraisal planning and the value of information follow, then development concept options: well count and type, subsea or platform, phased development and early production. The field development plan document is assembled section by section, with risk register and regulatory requirements. Later sessions turn to producing fields: surveillance plans, opportunity management, infill and late life decisions. Delegates leave able to lead or contribute to a field development plan and run an integrated reservoir management process.
