IFRS Standards and Financial Reporting

This course walks preparers and reviewers of financial statements through the IFRS standards most relevant to organisations operating across multiple African jurisdictions, including revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments, and impairment. Worked examples reflect the disclosure challenges faced by listed companies, banks, and multinational subsidiaries reporting under both local statute and group IFRS policy. Delegates finish with the technical grounding to prepare compliant, defensible financial statements.

  • Account correctly for leases under IFRS 16 from both lessee and lessor perspectives
