Project and ContractForensic Delay Analysis and Extension of Time Claims
Delay claims are decided on the analysis rather than on who was obviously at fault, and a well founded entitlement is routinely lost because the programme could not support it. This course covers the technique. Delegates work through the baseline programme and the records a delay analysis depends on, concurrency and the treatment of two causes operating at once, and the recognised analysis methods including as planned against as built, impacted as planned, time impact and windows analysis. Selecting a method for the available records is the central skill taught. Float ownership and who may consume it are covered. Cost consequences including prolongation and disruption follow. The course closes on presenting and defending an analysis.
