Risk, Compliance and AMLEnterprise Risk Management Frameworks
Organisations that manage risk in silos miss the interconnections that turn a manageable exposure into a crisis, because each function reports its own risks as acceptable and nobody owns the combination. This course builds the enterprise view. Delegates work through framework selection and what a recognised framework actually requires, risk identification across strategic, operational, financial and compliance categories, and assessment that produces comparable ratings between functions that think differently. Aggregation and correlation are covered, since the point of an enterprise view is seeing what accumulates. Appetite, treatment and the decision to accept a risk knowingly follow. Reporting to executives and the board is addressed. The course closes on embedding risk in decisions rather than maintaining a register beside them.
