Governance and ComplianceEnterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance
Governance, risk and compliance are usually run as three separate functions producing three separate reports about the same organisation. This course covers integrating them. Delegates work through a common risk taxonomy, the three lines model and the boundary disputes it generates, combined assurance planning, and the design of a reporting set that gives a board one coherent picture rather than three partial ones. Technology and tooling are covered pragmatically, including the common failure of buying a platform before agreeing the taxonomy it is meant to hold.
Course objectives

- Apply the three lines model and resolve the boundary disputes it creates
- Build a combined assurance plan across internal and external providers

- Measure whether integration has actually reduced duplicated effort
