Power and ElectricalEnergy Management Systems and ISO 50001 Implementation
A structured energy management system turns energy saving from a series of projects into a permanent capability. This course covers the implementation of one to the ISO 50001 standard. Delegates work through the requirements clause by clause, establish an energy review and baseline, define energy performance indicators that survive changes in production volume, set objectives and action plans, and design the measurement, monitoring and verification that demonstrate a saving is real. Internal audit and management review are covered, along with the practical problem that defeats most systems: attributing a change in consumption correctly when production, weather and product mix all moved at the same time.
