Power and ElectricalElectrical Wiring Installation and Inspection
Most electrical fires and a large share of shocks trace to installation work that was never properly inspected. This course covers doing both correctly. Delegates work through wiring systems and the selection of cable, containment and accessories for an environment, circuit design including protective device selection and discrimination, and earthing and bonding arrangements. Installation practice covers terminations, segregation and the workmanship faults that recur. Inspection and testing follow the sequence a competent person uses, from visual inspection through dead testing to live testing, and the course closes on certification and on the defects that require immediate action.
