Human ResourcesDiversity, Equity and Inclusion in Practice
Diversity policies that live only on a poster in the reception area rarely change how decisions actually get made in recruitment, promotion or daily team interactions. This course moves delegates beyond awareness raising into the practical mechanics of embedding equity and inclusion across HR processes, drawing on the specific dynamics of ethnically, linguistically and generationally diverse African workforces. Delegates audit one of their own HR processes for hidden bias and redesign it during the course.

- Distinguish diversity, equity and inclusion as related but distinct organisational goals
- Identify bias points across recruitment, promotion and performance processes
- Redesign a selected HR process to reduce identified bias
