Tax and LegalDigital Tax Administration and Electronic Invoicing
Revenue authorities across Africa are moving to real time and near real time reporting, which means an invoice is validated by the authority before or as it reaches the customer, and errors become blocking rather than correctable at year end. This course covers operating in that environment. Delegates work through the fiscalisation and electronic invoicing models in use, the device, software and interface requirements each imposes, and data quality at source since there is no longer time to fix it later. Reconciliation between system records and authority records is covered. Downtime and failure procedures follow, because outages happen and trading continues. The course closes on audit in a digital environment, where the authority already holds the data.
