Data Science and Big Data Analytics Foundations

Organisations are accumulating transactional, customer and operational data faster than they are building anybody able to use it, and the first hire often spends a year cleaning data rather than analysing it. This course covers the whole workflow honestly. Delegates work through problem framing and translating a business question into something analysable, data acquisition and the profiling that reveals what you actually have. Cleaning and preparation are given the weight they occupy in real work. Exploratory analysis and the statistics needed to avoid reading noise as signal follow. Modelling is covered at foundation level: the main algorithm families, training and validation, and why a model that scores well can still be useless. Communicating a result to a non technical audience is practised. The course closes on reproducibility and on deployment realities.
