Contract Risk Management and Compliance

Most commercial disputes trace back to a clause nobody read carefully or an obligation nobody tracked. This course covers managing risk across the contract lifecycle. Delegates work through risk identification at drafting, the allocation of liability, indemnity and limitation, performance security and guarantees, and the obligation management that determines whether a party can prove compliance two years later. Claims, variations and dispute escalation are covered, along with the practical discipline of contract administration: notices served on time, records kept contemporaneously, and correspondence written on the assumption it will be read in a dispute.
