Manufacturing and ProductionBrewing and Beverage Processing
Beverage production is a biological process wrapped in a packaging operation, and consistency across batches is the product, since a customer notices a difference long before they notice quality in the abstract. This course covers both halves. Delegates work through raw materials including malt, adjuncts and water treatment to a target profile, milling, mashing and wort production, and fermentation with the yeast management that determines flavour consistency. Maturation, filtration and stabilisation follow. Carbonation, packaging and the oxygen pickup that shortens shelf life are covered. Cleaning in place and microbiological control receive full attention. The course closes on utilities, water and effluent load, and on troubleshooting a batch that has gone wrong.
